Ongoing Research Participation Opportunities:
Did you experience objects that repeatedly moved on their own with no apparent explanation? – by Christopher Laursen
“If so, historian Christopher Laursen would like to hear from you. This research focuses on these types of experiences that occurred between 1945 and 1990. The movement of objects on their own should have taken place repeated over a period of time, for example, a few days, weeks, or months, but then have stopped moving on their own at some point. Please send an e-mail or letter describing in detail what happened to you, noting where and when it happened as well. Your experience may add to the historical knowledge of this phenomenon. Your experiences will only be included in this research upon the completion of a consent form and questionnaire that you can complete by e-mail or regular mail. If you wish, you may remain anonymous in the research.
… This research project will continue until the beginning of 2014 and is part of his doctoral research in the Department of History at the University of British Columbia. He is also interested in hearing of experiences before 1945 and after 1990 from any part of the world.”
Special Instructions: Visit his site and use the contact form to either submit an experience or request more information.
Telephone Telepathy Experiment – by Rupert Sheldrake
“Many people claim to be able to know who’s calling them before they answer the call. Is this just coincidence or is some other factor involved? The Telephone Telepathy experiment attempts to answer this question empirically.”
Location: United States and United Kingdom
Special Instructions: Register your cell phone number and then log in to add the numbers of two people you are close to (eg. friends and family). All three numbers you provide must be U.S. cell phones and providers (landlines will not work). Further instructions will be provided after you log in. Those in the UK may also be able to register to participate using this form instead (see Rupert Sheldrake’s website for information on this).
For more information, watch the video, learn how it works, or contact the experimenters.
Survey of psychic experiences – by Carlos Alvarado & Christine Simmonds-Moore
“We are interested in learning more about a variety of human experiences, some of which are unusual, but are by no means uncommon in the general population. We are undertaking an online survey to explore individual differences, synesthesia (the tendency for some people to experience two senses together, e.g., colored words or numbers; tasting shapes; spatially organized calendars, etc.), and a variety of anomalous experiences (for example, extrasensory perception).
We would very much appreciate it if you would take the time to complete this online questionnaire, even if you have never experienced the things described on the questionnaire.”
Special Instructions: Please email Dr. Christine Simmonds-Moore, University of West Georgia, with any questions about the survey.

Online precognition experiment – by Michael Franklin
From Michael Franklin, a Project Scientist in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at the University of California, Santa Barbara: “We are looking for volunteers to participate in a new online precognition experiment. What is unique about this experiment is that it uses implicit behavioral measures to predict the outcome of an online roulette spin. The actual experiment takes about 30 minutes to complete and involves some simple letter and shape discriminations.”
Special Instructions: They are trying to track where participants are coming from, so when you start the experiment and it asks for an experiment code, please enter the code ‘radin101′. (Originally found on Dean Radin’s blog Entangled Minds).
Double slit experiment online – by Dean Radin
An experiment designed to empirically test of the effect of observation and consciousness on the measurement of quantum systems. The online app will stream live data in (very close to) real-time from an optical system in the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) laboratory.
Special Instructions: Please see the original announcement on Dean Radin’s blog Entangled Minds for additional instructions for accessing the experiment.
